Biratnagar, March 2 (RSS): Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Dahal-Nepal group's chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal claimed that a new government would be formed roping in all those who struggled against the dissolution of parliament. At a press conference organized by Nepal Press Organization, Morang today at Biratnagar, Nepal also assured that a majority of party members were on their side. "Hence there will be no issues regarding authentication of the NCP," he asserted. Government pays attention to forest conservation - PM Oli

Kathmandu, March 2 (RSS): Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the government has paid attention to the conservation, management, development and benefit among the allied topics. Addressing the Eighth National Council of the Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN) here today, he said the government would initiate steps only after assessing the status of forestry and the environment. PM Oli inaugurates Purbanchal Cancer Hospital

  Jhapa, March 2 (RSS): Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today inaugurated a cancer hospital in Birtamod of Jhapa. The Purbanchal Cancer Hospital based in Birtamod Municipality-5 which has been in operation for around a year was formally inaugurated today. Local investor Durga Prasai invested Rs 6 billion to build the 300-bed hospital. On the occasion, the Prime Minister unveiled a stone inscription on the hospital premises and visited the hospital wards. It is said the hospital provided its services to around 2,700 patients since its operation and among them 1,300 are from Jhapa itself. ---

PM Oli inaugurates 'Pradesh Gaurab Village'

Jhapa, March 2 (RSS): Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has inaugurated the 'Pradesh Gaurab Village' constructed for poor and indigenous community at Birtamod municipality in Jhapa district today. A total of 37 houses have been constructed there. The houses were constructed on one bigha and three katthas of land donated by Dhanjuju Shrestha and Kamala Shrestha of Bhadrapur. The village was constructed at the investment of Rs 148 million of Province 1 government, Habitat Nepal and Sahara Nepal. On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli assured that the government would provide support in construction of thatched roof-free houses, saying no one should be homeless in the country. Tax evasion cases: cases filed against 1,000 defaulters, fiscal crimes over Rs 47 billion busted in the past two years

Kathmandu, March 2 (RSS): - Narayan Dhungana The Revenue Investigation Department has been tightening its noose against the tax evaders or those involved in economic crimes of any sorts. In the past two years, the Department has lodges cases against 1,000 defaulters and companies for their involvement in tax evasion cases. Those individuals and companies, some of them being renowned ones as well, were alleged to commit financial crimes by dodging taxes worth over Rs 47 billion. KMC writes to DoA to remove illegal shops in and around Basantapur Area

Kathmandu, March 2 (RSS): The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has sent a letter to the Department of Archeology (DoA) to get rid of the illegally run shops in Basantapur Area in Kathmandu. There are many such shops being run towards north of the Fire Brigade Office and in the buildings nearby Taleju Bhawani Temple. The removal is asked to be carried out within a week, according to the letter. "It is the responsibility of the DoA to preserve the cultural, historical and archeological heritages in the Kathmandu Valley including Basantapur Area," reminded the letter. The KMC wrote to DoA after receiving widespread complaints from the public about such shops that were occupying public spaces illegally and were running commercial activities. Government forms team to hold talks with Biplav-led group

Kathmandu, March 2 (RSS): The government has formed a two-member team to hold talks with Netra Bikram Chand-led group. The team under coordination of Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has been formed today as per government's decision of resolving problems through the medium of talks. Prime Minister Oli's foreign affairs advisor, Dr Rajan Bhattarai, is the member of the team.
