NC will have responsible role in House, Nidhi says
Kathmandu, Feb 25 (RSS): Nepali Congress vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi has said that his party will play a responsible role in the Parliament.
Inaugurating the newly-constructed building of Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Memorial Hospital and unveiling the late leader's statue here Thursday, the NC leader stated that NC's role will be for democracy, constitution and people.
"Both the conflicting sides of the Nepal Communist Party are looking for NC's support for the formation of new government after the restoration of House from the Supreme Court. NC will take appropriate decision from the Parliament itself," according to Nidhi.
Likewise, NC leader and former minister Ananda Prasad Dhungana said that late Nidhi was a personality with deep trust on changes brought about by peace and non-violence means.
Also speaking at the programme, NC central committee member Gagan Kumar Thapa asked the hospital's officials to ensure quality health care service in low cost and make its services nationwide.
Dinbandhu Pokhrel, former minister Shanker Prasad Koirala, lawmakers Jip Tshiring Lama and Umesh Shrestha, and other speakers shared their views on the hospital's services.
The 100-bed hospital has planned to expand its services in all seven provinces across the country in the future.
